The Project
Screenhouse Productions are makers of the BBC2 science
show "Science Shack" presented by Adam Hart-Davis. The objective
of the program in which Osiris were involved was to address the considerations
of living underwater.
To demonstrate this in a fun way interesting to children two builder's
skips were welded together and then equipped with life self-sustaining
support systems.
Specialists
in Safety
Osiris were recommended to the makers of the program as having all the
experience to advise on health and safety rules and as being able to
provide an on site safety team.
Contribution
to the Programme Recognised
The Science Shack programme was unquestionably an enjoyable project
which Osiris approached with the same standard of professionalism as
all other works. This was recognised by the programme producer Jon Doyle
who wrote "their [Osiris] commitment and professionalism during
pre-production and throughout filming ensured the project was delivered
on budget and on time."
